Blesfontein offers a variety of accommodation optionsWe have a variety of suites available for your visit: from a honeymoon suite with a luxurious big tub just made for sharing, to simple well-equipped self-catering units.
Guests also may make use of our large communal area which overlooks the farm and has a dart board, table tennis, comfortable couches, a small library and also wifi. Choose to self-cater or take advantage of our home-cooked meals in the dining area which is also available for functions. Please below for more information. All bookings are secured with a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remainder of your bill can be settled when you leave Blesfontein. Please note: we do not have card facilities available on the farm. |
Meals
Meals are available from the main farmhouse by prior arrangement.

Farm shopWe have a small farm shop that sells items like eggs, milk, sweets, cooldrinks, chips and braai packs. We are also proud to sell some of our local wine from the small but award-winning Sutherland Wines.
New on the farm: some of our home-grown Alpaca wool and Alpaca dolls. FirewoodFirewood can be purchased for R30 / 10kg bag. The firewood in our units is not included in the rates for the accommodation.
Other supplies
Blesfontein sells our home-made jams and preserves in season. All other supplies can be purchased from the local shops in Sutherland. We highly recommend the Sutherland butchery for Karoo lamb.
Cellular receptionThere is MTN signal at the farmhouse, on high areas of the farm and on parts of the road between Sutherland and Blesfontein. Vodacom and Cell-C is only available in Sutherland. There is wi-fi at our hotspot on the farm in the communal room.
